A Bit About Our Coach
Running was a part of growing up for me. I didn't think I liked it at the time but my Dad was a runner and some of our fondest memories are running together.
As I got older, I ran high school in track (we were too small too have cross country). I was a good runner but could have been better.

As an adult, I ran Chicago as my first marathon with my Dad. Triathlon then got my attention and I discovered what consistent training could do. I would complete sprint, Olympic, Half IronMan and a full IronMan. I loved the camaraderie, the competition and the feeling of being in great shape. Triathlon was and is a great sport but I was always a runner first. In the back of my mind, I often wondered if I could be a better runner if I had more time to run, strength train and do some yoga.
After IronMan, life happened and I got of of shape; tried to do too much and got injured. Then suddenly (yes...suddenly), I aged and found myself trying to become a runner again. And this is where you've found me. An aging weekend warrior who would love to coach you. I'll do my best to steer you away from injury, guide you toward your goals and maybe even share some laughs along the way.
